Library Rules & Regulations

1. All students must present their library card to enter and borrow books.
2. Books are issued for 7 days for UG students and 14 days for PG / Research scholars.
3. Late return attracts a fine of ₹1 per book per day.
4. Strict silence must be maintained in the reading hall.
5. Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode and not used inside the library.
6. Students must not write in or damage library books. Damaged books must be replaced.
7. Reference books, journals, and theses are available for reading only — they cannot be borrowed.
8. Students are required to submit their bags at the entrance counter.
9. The library card is non-transferable. Misuse will result in cancellation of membership.
10. Students must sign the register at entry and exit.
11. Final year students must return all library materials before receiving their No Dues certificate.
